America is alone. That is the premise for which Mark Steyn uses in America Alone: The End of the World as We Know it. He warns readers that the philosophy and culture of the Western world is rapidly being assimilated and churned under growing influences of Radical Islamism, international population declines, and our own apathy towards the current quagmire. He supports his claims with brilliant and daunting statistics, including the fact that the United States is the only industrialized nation in the world with an increasing birth rate. He also warns of the mounting nuetral and stoic view of multicultralism, and thus warns of the hypocrisy that our so called "freedom of religion" brings out.
In the end, Steyn makes the point that the US might be the only true "Western" nation left, and we must be prepared to face whatever challenges come our way.
