     It is a beautiful fact that our country is quick to act when a tragedy occurs, no matter where it happens. For example, when the horrific tsunami hit South Asia this winter our country came together and began donating money to the Red Cross and other organizations. Even though the money was greatly needed there, it shouldn’t take 200,000 deaths to make people help others.

Natural disasters happen all the time, which means organizations will always need donations. So, start now. Go through your belongings and donate what you don’t need, or begin volunteering in your community. Someone will always benefit from your charitable acts.
