Teen Ink Blogs

By Justin P., Dell Rapids, SD

I was angry when I read this article. The author says that new drivers are too young and not responsible enough to drive. That is just not true. I am a new driver and so are most of my friends. I will admit that some of them aren’t the best drivers but a lot of adults are just as bad.

Changing the driving age wouldn’t be effective. No matter what age a new driver is, they are still bound to make stupid decisions. The author talks about a crash involving a 16-year-old driver that I know was bad, but I have heard about worse accidents involving older drivers.
