I have just finished reading "The Pursuit of Tomorrow" by Jessie C. I totally can relate to this story. In it, she talks about working so hard that "in my pursuit of tomorrow, I overlooked the joy that today offered." Like Jessie, I am always planning ahead. I "sweat the small stuff," always trying to finish projects early, and making sure my homework's done before I go to bed. I am also constantly looking at my planner or making sure things are done correctly.

I regret this because, as Jessie pointed out, you miss out on all the joys in life. You never give yourself time to relax. I still may be like this, but when you face reality, it hits you pretty hard.
