Teen Ink Blogs

By Daniel G., Phoenix, AZ

In the September issue there was an article about a young man who is teased for being Jewish. One of my best friends is Jewish and has had a lot of the same problems, but he has pretty much gotten over it.

My friend grew up being called "f----t Jew" and just about every other thing you can think of. Nobody really cares that he is Jewish; they just want to bolster their reputations by wrecking his. It has been very hard, but he is starting to learn not to listen or care what others say.

Prejudice should not be tolerated or allowed. I have great respect for my friend, he has grown a lot since I met him.
