Sprawled across the blanket, dozing, with the clouds' shadows overhead alternating sun and shade, I cannot clearly hear my friends; their voices are the comfortable buzz one recognizes just before sleep captures her.
Feet rested, arms folded, I open my eyes to look directly into the sky.

Problems on Earth

What doesn't pollute the earth? Look around: most of what you see or use in daily life pollutes. Factories, cars and trains do; so do cars and buses, which are important for travel but still pollute too much. We need new laws and restrictions that will make the air and earth cleaner.
