If I Could Change the World

     It's unlikely that any of us will be the next Mother Teresa and only a few will have enough power to do big things in this world, but I believe that I can change the world by volunteering to help the less fortunate in my area.

Popped Corn

     I was 16 and doing stupid things, thinking I wouldn't get caught. Eventually, though, I did and it wasn't fun. I went to court and was found guilty of possessing alcohol. I had to pay $100 and serve 20 hours of community service.

Teen Lifeline

     The ringing of the phone vibrates through my head, telling me someone needs help. I pick it up and start the routine, "Teen Lifeline, this is Amber." About 45 minutes later I hang up feeling a sense of jubilation because I helped another teen.
