Teen Ink Blogs

By Allison G., Fairfax, VA

I wish that I could wake up
To a thin coat of frost
On my window,
And the hum of the heater
Working overtime.
To slip unnoticed through the dark hall,
And tread lightly down the stairs,
Pass over cold wood floors,
To steal into the living room,
Look out the window,
And see that familiar stranger
Has snuck over the landscape
With slippered feet,
And his finger to his lips,
And all the
Colors white.
