Teen Ink Blogs

By Brittany B., St. Cloud, FL

retro armchairs made of recycled materials define
us, we are addicted to the clean simple lines
as if the inexpensive scandinavian design
will cause our emotions to be as neat and organized
as the plastic bins that contain our souls
we build a lifestyle that revolves
around modular furniture that solves
our (storage) problems.
Machine washable slipcovers do little to cover the fact

that I eat on my sofa: lo-cal, lo-sodium, free of fat.
We are all shipped around in flat boxes.
We are all striving to combine both form and function.
We all Require Some Assembly
