By Claire G., San Francisco, CA

Rich, nutty, caramel latte
Served in a 16-ounce mug
Ten words that set my glands in motion
From a lifetime of devotion
To Tahitian coffee, steaming mochas,
Deep, rich 'spresso, drugs, ambrosias
How rapture-filled the world can seem
While drinking the wicked coffee bean.

Sumatra Mendheling!
The menu board tells me it has a buttery body,
Making it a classic dessert coffee
By itself OR with cream
I don't care, as long as I've got it.
I'll surrender diamonds from my pocket
To imbibe on mocha chocolate,
Cappuccino, light and creamy,
Or macchiatos, dark and steamy

God cursed the world of men the day
When earth rained chocolate royale au lait.
