By Caitlin S., Louisville, KY   (More by this author »)

Drink the stars from the Northern skies,
gentle angel.
Touch the curves of the moon and cool
your nerves with a taste of
heaven.
Why don't you help me push past
this sea of clones with clichéd thoughts
and blank emotions.
Reach out with your slender fingers and
touch the fiery beams of the sun,
passing out pre-packaged smiles to
thousands of broken children.
And after you're done being a
savior
for the night,
watch the aged planets fade like a
forgotten dream.
