WheneverI see
a hamster cage
It is October the 29th
The whole family
isgathered
Outside in the rain
Watching my dad dig a hole.
Big enough forthe box
With my hamster

But that
is not my story
My story iswhenever
I see
a hamster cage
I see my hamster
In
Hamsterheaven
Running free, eating
All
the food she wants
Not with athought
that I miss her.
