Her tear-stained cheeks
reveal the depth
of her self-inflicted pain.
Abreath between us.
A look of anguish,
and then a helpless sigh.
I toohave felt
this pain within
the crevice of every thought.
The greatestevil
I have faced, and
she has yet to tackle.
I reach to her.
I pullher close.
Assure her of her true self.
A painful embrace.
A quickstream of tears.
Her face reveals it all.
She has come now
to fight this
