oppression
led tosegregation
its spin-off now is degradation
still I thrive in thishating nation
yet your shoes are brand new
I've seenfear
fester in boiling pots of ignorance
fueled by miseducation ofmulticulturalism
and misconceptions
yet your shoes are brandnew
I've witnessed typical
stereotypes transform
intoanticipated conformity
and society's ills nurtured like sores
butI'd rather spit shine my shoes
before I trade them with yours
