By Jon M., Brookline, MA

   Summer has its own rain

the water is in the air

yet it does not fall

what strange rain, this

At a midnight hour

when you gaze upon the moon

you will see it

but only if you are not looking for it

For this summer rain

which is half as dense as a drop

has a name that is twice as long:

humidity
