Teen Ink Blogs

By Stephanie S., ,

   Graduated

Changes taking place.
Memories begin to fade.
Old faces become hard to recognize.
Past routines become extinct.
Intimidating faces enter,
once familiar faces,
fade away.
Just smiling to those new faces,
not knowing what to say.
Old pictures reveal familiar times,
Though I cannot remember the names.
Take me again to the place,
so I can remember,
the smell of the halls.
So many failures,
So many accomplishments.
Again, another thought begins to fade,
just as the others before,
it grows further back.
Next time,
I won't remember as much.
