By Marianne R., West Springfield, MA

   I pushed him over the

Edge

Because I was afraid that

I would

Fall

Into his arms to never

Return

Whether he held me or not,

I'd hold

On

And strangle him. My love was

Too great,

Too overpowering. So I pushed him

To protect myself

From myself

For I truly

Knew

What I was

Capable

Of.
