By Ken S., Worcester, MA

Akin to Sol and Luna are we two,

Alike in essence as fair night and day,

Our diff'rence though is often miscontrued,

For love hath blossomed here from simple ways.

As daytime's golden honey drop on high

Does shine and spread his warmth to every face,

I bear to you the warmth my heart provides,

Which nurtures love another can't replace.

And you, dear, like the waxing eye of night,

That makes the lovers dream like lovers do,

Your voice inspires life within the light

That guides my heart and soul back home to you.

Our love will always live as we will gray,

As day will chase the night and night the day.
