By Michelle S., Stoughton, MA

   Shamelessly I disregard.

For I know what I do can be perceived as animosity.

But to me I return what has been forced on me,

And shun the beholder.

Was there something done wrong?

Or not to a standard?

For as I see it, all was unjust.

To all others blissness has fallen

Over their ignorant eyes.

To walk away now seems right,

For I can only express apathy

In this everfloving situation.

The chill has fallen, the sky glows,

Natural beauty surrounds me.

I leave my shoes which are sobbing and alone,

And I continue to the destiny beyond.
