Holding Me

Teen Ink Blogs

By Jamie C., Natick, MA

    Hold my hand

Embrace me with your olive eyes

And you tell me

That I am beautiful

Through your wine stained

Lips.

I understand that you are

Swimming through truth

I metamorphosis into

Your radiant child.

Who shall forever be

exquisite in your

Belonging

Mother, you can do no wrong

You, who have given me

Rain on a scorching

Night

And the point where

Two shards of wood

Are held together

By pure unification

I shall kiss you in your darkest hour.

For Mother, you can do no wrong.
