Teen Ink Blogs

By Toby S., Hingham, MA

   And so flies the Robin

The shell of inhibition hath broken

Love forged through lust.

And so flies the Stork

A small bundle of miracles

Sleeping in the nest of naivete.

And so flies the Raven

The tempest gathers strength

Straining, pulling, breaking the bond

The miracle tears, is devastated

Plucked of its trust, its confidence, its feathers

And so flies the Dove

Yet where art thy branch?
