By Stephen D., ,

The catamaran, a skeleton of technology,

And the monstrous New Zealand craft

Fly across the crystal seas,

Escorted by dolphins fore and aft.

Locked in contest, the two vessels

Skim across the shimmering oceans,

Rocked by the swells

and propelled by the sea's emotions.

Puffs of wind filling blue and white sails alike,

The two boats, washed by white crests of foam,

Are in their element,

The seas are their home.

And, finally, the two boats return

To land, where on paper white,

Their forms first appeared

Under the glare of a fluorescent light.
