Teen Ink Blogs

By Angela C., Stafford, VA

Today
she had eight
cats. One for every sin
she had ever committed.
They lived
in her two-room trailer
with her and relieved
themselves all over
the floor.
Other than the cats
all she owned was a Bible
and a can of green beans.

Yesterday
she lied,
and told Luanne that she liked
her skirt.

Tomorrow
she would fish another stray
from its junkyard
home
next door.
