I.
Slam your ignorant faces to the dust attracted
To all your old-fashioned hearts that think
Just because I’m a girl I have to be
Pretty
Dressed-up
And obedient
WELL I’M NOT
I’m here to tell you that I represent every single girl
Though some are brainwashed to think that these men
Should control every thought and movement we make
WELL THEY SHOULDN’T
Stop to think about what’s happened since 1920
And realize
We are not your little Barbie dolls to please you
And satisfy your every need and want
Wake up, men
It’s time to take care of yourselves

II.
Suffocate me, drown me in tears
But don’t you dare
Make me shave my legs and dye my hair
I won’t paint my face
With that crap you call make-up
I’m a girl
And that word is not simple but complex
And I will disobey you, men, with every force and muscle I have
And believe
In my heart
We all have many
I will fight you
I will die to save the name of “woman”

III.
STOP
As I slam you down
And shriek with the mighty call
Of a woman
Obey me disobey me
I DON’T CARE
Just respect me
Treat me just like
You’d treat your fellow men
