Description:

I took this photo of my friend Eliza during a school hiking and camping trip to Northern India. The photo is taken during the Holi Festival of Color when Hindus paint themselves and one another with colorful powder to celebrate spring.

This piece has also been published in Teen Ink's monthly print magazine.

This piece won the May 2013 Teen Ink Cover Art Contest.
