This reminds me so much of when I took in two baby rats...they were entirely newborn, eyes still closed, that I found at my barn I wokr at, and a dumb girl touched them and we left them over night to see if the mom would come nack (when we first dicovered them, we saw her run away) but she didnt so I snuck them home without my mom knowing but then i told her and we fed them baby formula (cuz rats are actually REALLY close relatives to humans and its actually really good for them) with and eye dr...
