Dear Jace,
I hope you don't mind (since you won't ever read this anyways), but I have decided to dedicate all my diary entries specifically to you, since you ARE my ABSOLUTE idol in everything I do with my violin. I haven't quite decided how I plan to do this. I guess I'll start out with some information about you if anyone does happen to read this other than me. Your name is Jace Stevenson, and, surprisingly, you turned 35 this past July. You are a violinist in the group Strings For All, along with Michael Yvinski (violinist) and Ricky Meijer (bassist). You guys all met at Harvard as colleagues. You have been playing the violin for 31 years (congratulations, by the way)! That is super impressive! No wonder you're so good! You and the other two travel all over the United States, and have even been to other countries. People that haven't gotten the opportunity to see you perform haven't lived yet! You guys (specifically you) have changed my life forever! I remember the very first time I saw Strings For All perform. I'm pretty sure I was nine years old, but you guys performed at a theater in Chicago with the orchestra. That was when you had the absolute most ADORABLE afro! ;) I still remember it bobbing all over the place every time you moved! OK, time to get more serious. After you guys had played your first song (I hadn't even realized it), my jaw had dropped to the floor. You guys had changed my life there and then forever. My mom looked over at me and just smiled. At the end of the concert, I gave the loudest and biggest standing ovation I'd EVER given! I knew I wouldn't be able to forget that performance, or you guys, for that matter, for the rest of my life.
Well...I'd say that's a good introduction for now. I will be catching up with other performances for the next few days. Will write more tomorrow!

Much love <3,
Miley Gerald :)

P.S. Is it bad that I found that bobbing afro...attractive??? -.-'

Wow! These are amazing! Very powerful and I am glad that you're using these as a way to express your feelings and to make yourself happier. And I am also glad that you're letting us read your deepest thoughts. It seems to me that you've found a wonderful inspiration and role model. Please continue to write and continue to find joy in your idol.
