See, it's great that Yale offers writing courses through the summer session, because they do not have any in-school classes in Communications, so either I must change my intended major of going into journalism and creative writing, or change my dream of attending Yale

Christi - don't worry about what majors are offered at Yale. The purpose should be to get a broad liberal arts education and with that you can do whatever you want: become a nuclear physicist, doctor, journalist, etc. Your writing exposure will come from the classes you take in the wonderful English department and whatever experience you have writing for the Yale Daily News. Just note the number of Yale graduates who are working at and running major media outlets around the count... (more »)
