The Boy With The Gun

Jacob Perez took a hold of the gun. I wonder if I will make it out in time, he thought. He opened the door softly and began to walk corner store so quiet, you can hear crickets. He thought of his brother and time when he was killed and how that was the worst part of his life. Jacob walked quietly in the store and stood in front of the cashier, pulled the trigger and watched the man fall dramatically to the ground. The man lied lifeless—the man who had killed is brother.

Jacob Perez stood in front of the mirror. His hair was way grayer then he had remembered. He lifted his trembling hand to his light, short hair. Am I really this old he thought. He lowered his hand, punched the mirror, and walked away.
