If you don't want to vote for Obama because he hasn't done anything, and you don't want to vote for Romney because he is an idiot, vote for Big Bird! Thats what I'm putting on my ballot. Revert to your childhood memories!

Voting for Big Bird is basiclly not voting all.  Big Bird can't win, you have to basiclly vote for teh one that you believe is less bad than the other...;east that's what I think.  I never watched Seaseme Street either.

Or, just a thought, instead of voting for the "lesser of two evils", you could vote for someone good, like a third party candidate. I would vote for Gary Johnson if I could vote, but apparently the government doesn't deem me enough of a person of something D:< And to top it off, they give us a popular vote to make us think that we have a say when really politicians make the final decision. Stupid fake democratic system... They're like commies.

Freedoms_Guard:

Who are you to decide the rights of a fictional character?  Are you his creator?  His writer?  Why do you get to play some kind of sick God with the rights of inaminate entities?!

Furthermore how do you know that Whiplash wasn't actually referring to the man within the big bird costume?  He is most likely a legitimate American citizen, and is probably more qualified than a lot of the candidates we have now.

I just find it absolutely absurd that you feel so prejudiced against Big Bird, just because you didn't watch him as a child doesn't automatically make him communist!
The thought that someone could be so absolutely bigoted against another human in a large yellow bird costume singing in a circle full of preschoolers is repulsive!

I hope you reflect upon your personal political and ethical beliefs before this election.  Honestly, not voting for someone because they're not real is ridiculous.  God help you.

Mr. Breece, I did not say that Big Bird was Communist.  I said voting for him was like voting for no one because he ca't win, if Whiplash meant the person in Big Bird, than he should have put the name of that person, not the name of the character the person plays.
I am not against Big Bird because I never watched him when I was a kid, I'm not against him because he's a large yellow bird that dances for pre-schoolers, and I am not predjuiced against him.  I just believe that it is a waste of a vote to vote for someone who is not real(Big Bird, Micky Mouse, fictional characters, I'm not talking about the people who draw or operate the characters).  Now I agree with Sorla, you could vote for a thrid party candiadte if your were absolutely against both Pres. Obama or Gov. Romney and it was against your beliefs or wishes to vote for them, by all means vote for someone else, I'm not stopping you, it's your vote, use it how you want.  I was just stating my opinion.

...Wait, are you serious, Breece? Why would you waste a vote on big bird? Might as well vote for an actual candidate or not vote at all.

Breece... sarcasm doesn't always transfer into text. I thought an experienced Internet user like you would know that! Shame on you! Dishonor on you, your entire family, and anybody you come into contact with for the next year! Shun him! Shun him!

(That was sarcasm, by the way. :)

(I thought it was pretty funny, but I figured out you were joking by the end of the first sentence. The Communist comment made me laugh out loud.)

It's not a fake Democracy. It's a Republic. To keep people from voting for no other reason than that they wanna smoke weed.
