High above the foot hills and frozen mountains they race
They come in my dreams
The devilish fiends
They come for me at night
laughing and jesting in their alien tongue
flying, clawing, snarling
At night they reign like Kings
But dawn breaks
They are not a lasting thing
I awake,
Tired from enduring my nightly travels with these creatures, I'll reap
It's effects in the morning but it is not a lasting thing
I reach my hand to my face
I cannot find my mouth, nose. or eyes
I have no mouth for screams and cries
No eyes to sob
No nose to smell
Somewhere in blackness that blinds the sight

Oh My Twinkies (though I've never eaten one). Teriffic! (Sry, my spelling is awefull ;-) But seriously, great poem. I loved how there was no rhyme scheme but some words did rhyme and somehow it made it flow and the topic was awesome and the ruby green eyes turned me around and I was like WHOA.
That was good! Nightmareish haha. I love writing horror-related-type things.
