I never thought I'd be in second place
In the few contests that were important
His Heart

But I guess I was always second
Never First

I see you never got over her
And you used me to try to get rid of the pain
Well It didn't work very well

His Smile said he like me
So did his words
But his eyes said otherwise
Because when ever she was in the room
He'd only look at her

It hurt me in the inside
So I decided to tell him the truth
I couldn't do this anymore
I told him I can't be with you if you like her

I told him I can't be second
I told him go
Go and win her heart

He looked at me and said I'm sorry
Then left

I let a few silent tears roll down my face
It just sinked in that he never really like me

I vowed
That some day
I'd find some one who is going to let me be first never sceond place in their heart
