she sits all alone on a park bench
she holds back the tears in her eyes
she wants to be free from the pain
she is an angel caught up in the darkness.
 
rain, falls down drenching her in dew drops
fear, rises up in her, saying, "just give in"
pain, like a gunshot wound to her head
she doesnt know why, but she feels like lying down.
 
he stands by himself in the corner
he pushes down the anger rising up
he wants to be okay just one day
he is a broken soul caught in the devils hand.
 
wind, blows him in the wrong direction
defeat, shakes his heart, screaming, "give up"
hurt, like a knife slashing him to pieces
he cant say why, but he just wants to die.
 
the storms come and go all the time
a wall is built to keep heart ache out
a girl is fighting to keep up her heartbeat
a boy worn too weak, throws his life away.
