I play piano, violin and the cello. Music really relieves stress and takes me to a different world, one that is actually peaceful. And you are very right, playing is really a extroadinary remedy for a wounded soul! (:
Started piano when I was, what, eight? I was decent, but I quit in sixth grade. Since the, I've forgotten about half of what I learned. I can still play, but I play by ear instead of actually trying to read the music. It was a good stress reliever, I can agree with that. :)
Im currently self teaching myself how to play I love how relaxing it is
