Are you a cheerleader? If you are or if you're not, what do you think of cheerleaders? Do you think its a sport or an activity? Tell me!!

i think its both! because its hard work, but there is also dance mixed in so its an activity and a sport! i wanted to be in cheer this fall, but im going to Alabama for school, and you actually have to try out, so im not gonna do it this year, but next year maybe!! im too excited about the cheer part of this plan but i like the dancing!!

I totally agree. My friends always say stuff like "cheerleading isn't a sport, all you do is prance around in a uniform." yeah, I wish it were that easy. Good luck on your tryouts next year!

well i think od cheerleading as a form of dance. so an activity, its corio basically. i wouldn't be any good at it..at all. but if i was i might have started it up when i was younger

Unfortunately, I've had a few experiences with stereotypical mean girl cheerleaders... Anyway, I'm not a cheerleader and I think it's a sport! It looks like a lot of hard work!

I may think that cheerleading is okay in itself, but I don't like the people that do it.

I also don't like how we (I'm still in 8th grade, middle school) only get to play for boy's basketball, and I know that they're just laughing about us behind our backs.

I really wish some girls weren't that sterotypical cheerleader.. I'm a cheerleader and I have been unfortunate enough to know girls like that. But let me tell you, not all cheerleaders are like that, in fact, most girls I've met through this sport have been some of the most down-to-earth people I've ever met :)
