I read this book a while back and I absolutely loved it! The plot was great and it was just one of those books you never forget:) I read gathering blue too but I didn't like it as much.

OMG this was the firse book I read in 5th grade and loved it. I had to read it twice to understand it though.

To tell you the truth I had to force myself to read it and I only did that because I had to write a report on it at school.

Society takes these pills to get rid of bad thoughts and dreams. The "reciever" and the giver do not take the pills they bear the weight of the thoughts no one else can. This is trully a good book.
