Geren touched Kora's shoulder, who jumped and hit her head on the roof. "Dam.n it!" She yelled. The cab driver even laughed
Amy shot the driver a look that could have turned Medusa to stone. "Geren, leave her alone. "
"Sorry," Geren muttered. "I was just trying to get her attention." The cab driver's smile disappeared quickly when he saw Amy's look.
They pulled to a stop next to a pizza place and Amy nudge Geren. "This is the part where you have to pay."
"How much?" Geren whispered to her. kora looked at him incredulously. "Really, Geren?"
The driver told him the price and held out his hand expectantly.
Sighing, Geren handed the driver the money, then an extra five. "So, who's ready for some pizza?" Kora glanced at Amy, then raised her hand. "I say let's go."
Amy got out and nodded. "Yeah, I chose pizza, so pizza is what I want. If I wanted seafood I would have asked for seafood." She headed inside without waiting for them.
Kora and Geren looked at each other, shrugged, then went in as well. The place wasn't lit the best, and it was a little noisy, but the smells of pizza permeated throughout the establishment. Geren looked around for Amy. He was slighlty concerned about her, considering her reaction to his question.
Amy came to his side and slipped her hand into his. "Come on, we've got a table over therre."
Geren smiled at her, then led her to the table she pointed at. There weren't many people in this part of the restaurant. Kora followed behind nervously. "I hate public places," she muttered.
"Well that's the only place your gonna find a girlfriend Kora." Amy pointed out, sitting down/
Geren sat down as well. Some guy at another table looked downcast, as if he had overheard Amy's comment. Kora grinned and sat down. "Love the people, hate the place."
Amy shook her head. "I don't like feeling crowded." She admitted.
That's my problem with them. That and when the people are rude." Kora looked at geren, who was looking around. "I noticed another trend."
Amy sighed as the waiter came over.
"I stand corrected," Geren said wih a smile. "Good afternoon." Geren eyed Amy. "Your idea, your rules."
Amy looked between them and swallowed. "Uh...." She looked down, then at the waiter. "I want a water, and whatever they want to drink."
