Elrond raised an eyebrow. "Yes, that ring. But we have learned that hobbits are especially resistant to its powers, and I do believe you will succeed. But if you are in doubt, I shall call upon some comrades to join you in your quest."
Miria sighed. "Fine. But before we leave with the Ring, could we at least get a clue as to where it is?"
Carver blinked. Help? That'd be nice. Maybe they'd be more helpful than Peter Pan was...who wasn't very helpful in helping them get the Key. The other story the characters had been trying to kill them.
"Just who do you have in mind?" Carver asked him.
"That depends," Elrond told them. "You have a wizard, and a hobbit, and you have Miria. If there is anyone you have in mind, please speak up."
Miria looked at her friends. "Well, you've read this story. I haven't; that's how I got here in the first place. I was reading the book. Anyone you need to travel with us?"
Carver shrugged and glanced at the others. "I would be fine if we had Gandalf or Legolas or Aragon to help us fight. What do you guys think?"
Miria nodded. "I haven't ever read these books, but I know them all. That would be great."
Elrond rose from his throne. "It is decided then. But stay, until we can determine the roads you will be able to travel safely."

Clothes: Strurdy, but worn skinny jeans with ragged knees. Vintage white V-neck with a leather jacket over it. Ankle boots, combat styled.
Personality: Bubbly and wired when he hasn't slept. He's quiet, observant, and calculating more often than not. Extremely trustworthy, but trusts no one.
Background: Joaquin is from a backwater town where he's been made fun of for years. Because he's smart, people want to use him, so he hides his wit around others. More than anything in the world, Joaquin loves to read.
