Jay felt a wave of pain flow through his neck, he heard an unaudible stern voice say something before feeling the pain ease. He burst into laughter, trying to push himself free. This is just silly..! Hehe... Silly. Jay started bringing his legs down hard, kicking the man. "Let me go- I'm thirsty and I want some waterrrrrr." He then re-erupted into laughter before frowning, still trying to push away.
Natalie dashed ahead and quickly came upon the cabin. She rummaged around until she found the sugar. As an after though she grabbed her canteen of water then she was back on her feet and running. Soon Natalie came to the two who hadn't made that much progress. "Just lean him against a tree, we'll get him to calm down then take him to the cabin."
Llewellyn set Jay against the tree and let him sink to the ground. He took the canteen and bag of sugar from Natalie, dumping a handful into the canteen. "Drink this." He said, offering Jay the canteen.
Natalie watched, her arms folded over her chest. "Was he much trouble?" She asked sincerely, her smile plastered on.
"Nothing I couldn't handle." Llewellyn said with a shrug. "He's just in survival mode still. I don't really blame him for lashing out like that." God only knows what Jay had to do to make it to the island in the first place. Surviving alone was tough. "He's probably a nice person. Probably."
"Probably," Natalie replied, casting her gaze at Jay, "I still don't trust him." She crouched down so that she may look him in the face, but was still at what she thought was a safe distance away. Her lips moved wordlessly as she spoke to herself.
