"That's great," Rai says as she quints her eyes to see the better. "What's that?" She asks Achi. "The boy? I don't know, but what's written on the cave wall?" Achi says to her. "What's that on the cave wall?" She ignores the boy and steps toward the boy and the cave. "I feel like I've seen this writing before," she says out loud. "You have." Walking up to her, Achi runs his tail across her cheek and she closes her eyes as a memory flashes by. "Ima, what are you working on?" Rai asks her mom, refering to the pile of hieroglyphics on the kitchen table. "Oh, Rai, it's work. It's hieroglyphics, Egyptian," her mother replies. "Egyptian hieroglyphics?" Rai asks Achi, but he doesn't reply. "Sam, I think the writing on the wall is Egyptian, do you think otherwise? I might be wrong." She turns to look back at Sam.

Sam snorted. "Do you think I know Egyptian? You'd know more than I would about it. Can you make anything out? ANy instructions saying "THIS WAY TO SANTA"?"
His arms were starting to shake and he was getting tired. Making so much light was starting to tire him out.

"Uh, let's see, it's been a while," she replied back. Taking her time yet quickly scanning the hieroglyphics, she gets the message. "Put your hands down Sam, it's no use." Turning toward the hole where Juste fell, she exhales. Nothing, absolutely nothing. How'd they come to a dead end. All the hieroglyphics said was a prophecy, "Little Ones shall save the King and vanquish the Evil." "No clue to where Santa is but it said a prophecy and it pointed to a hole, this hole." She nods to the hole where Juste fell. "Best guess, follow the hole." Turning around, she faces Sam and the boy. The boy, was he a boy? Is he a human boy? That's the question. Now, she didn't need light to know where the boy was. She remembers where he's at. She looks back at Sam, then the wall for a few moments then finally back at the boy. He wasn't there, but he was. She knows he was. "Where'd he go? Where's the boy?" She turns toward Sam, hoping he saw something.

Sam felt a chill go down his spine. "I have got a bad feeling of this."
He looked down the hole. Where was Blizzard and Juste?
"I think we should go after them," Sam said. He dimmed his lights down and then slowly made his way after Juste.

Juste listened and thought he heard someone walking, he looked around, he saw a vent on the ground and knelt dow. There were tiny screws in it, he put his doll down and concentrated, the doll came to life and Juste made it stand up. Using the doll he took one of the tiny knives and unscrewed the vent opening, then he crawled inside. It was a small vent, but he could fit pretty easily. He then picked his doll up dragged it inside, then he started to rescrew it by makin the doll reach through the vent bars. He felt something tiny fly in around him. "Hey Juste!" he heard, he grinned, hearing Blizzard, "Why are you in here?" the fairy asked as Juste made his doll finish fixing the vent. "Thought I heard someone walkin' down the hall." Juste explained, he released the doll and it collapsed to teh ground, "Where the others?" he asked the fairy.

Sharina frowns slightly at the wall, running a hand nervously through her hair but not saying anything as she reluctantly follows Sam. Egyptian... But... "Why would there be Egyptian writing in/on the North Pole?" she asks herself aloud, biting her lip. Her father being Egyptian, she'd learned both to speak, read, and write in Egyptian with ease. "Am I the only one wondering that?"

"Through me off too, either its a trap or at some point one with an Egyptian history was here." Rai follows, but Sharina's question still lurking in the forefront of her brain. It doesn't make any sense, its like the farther they go, the more things become confusing. "Why me?" Rai whines.

"I don't like anything about this situation," Sam admitted as he shone his light around. Where had that kid and Juste gone?
"Juste! Ou es-tu!" he shouted, not caring if he attracted some monster. At least it would go for them and not Juste.
He glanced over his shoulders at the girls. "Do you think that that demon kid got him?"
He hoped not. He didn't want anything to happen to Juste....

Juste listened as the footsteps came closer down the hall. Blizzard was now sitting in his hair like she did with Sam. Juste clutched his doll tightly and tried to quiet his breathing. He heard a faint yell, but couldn't make out what it was. The footsteps got even closer, Juste wanted to crawl down the vent a bit more, but was afraid to make too much noise, not knowing who was almost right outside his vent and not knowing who was yelling from somewhere, though he thought the yell sounded like Sam.
((Sam's not in the hall way under the cave yet right? If he is I'll change my post...))

"It's possible, but I doubt it," Sharina replies, shaking her head slightly. "I suppose we'll have to hope it didn't and find out."
Somehow she felt she knew that, for now, Juste wasn't in danger, but it was just a feeling. It was just a feeling, though.

"Achi, I hate this." Rai mentally says to Achi.
" I know, but he's fine." He says referring to her worry over Juste.
"It's not just that, this whole thing just feels weird." She looks past Sharina to see the back of Sam. "He's fine, but..." she cuts off there as Achi gathers closer to her and she glances down at him.
"There's trouble for Juste." Achi says as he growls lowly so only she hears.
"Guys, I think we should hurry up, though I doubt Juste is caught, something is definately comming for it, Achi hears it." She says in a clipped voice as she struggles to hide the panic in her voice.

Juste heard someone breath on the other side of the vent. He felt himself sweating, inside the vent was warm and he was scared. Where was Sam and the others? WOuld they even choose to follow him? Or would they leave thinming he was dead, or leave because they didn't actually like him? WHo was outside the vent. Juste started to quietly crawl down the inside of teh vent, trying to leave where he'd come in so he wouldn't be caught. His breathing was quiet yet he he was taking short breath. Blizard stayed in his hair, clinging to it so she didn't fal as he crawled along.

Sam glanced at Ria. "Which way did he go? Does Achi know?"
He had a bad feeling. There was something evil down here.
"Juste! Where are you?" he shouted again.
"Sharina, Rai. Can you tell which direction he went?"

Sharina glances at Pantasma, quietly muttering, "Quaere Juste. Dic nobis ubi est." The wolf disappears ahead of them at her command as Sharina nods. "On it."
(Translation: Go find Juste. Tell us where he is.)

Sam followed after Panatasma. He trusted her nose could lead them to Juste.
He just hoped Blizzard was with Juste and that they were both safe. Sam's hurt leg was only a reminder of the dangerous that could be in this dark cave.
