Name: Jeremy
Age: 19
s.ex: male
Description, 6'1, ganlgy, weighs 150 lb, dark brown hair, that comes just past his eyes, wearing greay shirt, with a dark blue and black striped jacket over it, and blue jeans, with red converse. he is caucasian with green eyes.
Personality: very aloof, and distant, didnt get along well with people before the bombs fell, yet now, as he tried to survive in a harsh new world, is forced to step up to certain responsabilities. he is often cracking jokes, and making light of whatever situation he finds himself in. yet behind the jokes and laughter, he is slowly losing both his grip on reality, and his sanity.
Bio: A college student before the war, he had been majoring in Astrophysics, and minoring in literature. once everything went to hell, he quickly returned home, to find both parents missing. he grabbed what supplies he could, along with his fathers 12 gauge, and single box of ammunition, and hit the road, trying to find out what happened to them.

I was thinking about making my character a bit older, maybe early 20's, but you can do different if you want.

Zombies are always good, if a little overused.
Plague is nice 8D.
Sever climate change (really hot or really cold, dry, wet, etc.)
Nuclear fallout.

Maybe Nuclear fallout and America was turned into a wasteland, a giant desert. Minimal survivors and lots of ghost towns. If any of you have seen the Book of Eli, kinda like that.

Haven't seen it. I like giant desert, though. :) Would anyone be mutated, or would there be more diseases due to the nuclear radiation?

Description: Tall, gangly, green eyes, dark brown hair, that comes just past his eyes. he is caucasian, with a slight (very slight) tan. he is wearign a grey graphic tee, with a dark blue and black striped jacket over it, along with blue jeans and red converse.
Personality: very aloof and distant, he likes cracking jokes and makign light of whatever situation he is in. yet, as the stress of the post apocalyptic world presses down, he realizes he is slowly losing his sanity.

After the world went to hell, he quickly made it to his parents house, yet found that they had fled, without a trace. he gathered up whatever supplies he could find, along with his fathers 12 gauge, and several boxes of shells, and went on the road, searching for where his parents may have gone

Name: Ryn (may or may not be her real name)
Age: 21 (may or may not be her real age)
Gender: Female (definately her real gender ;D)
Appearance: Tallish, 5'8", and wiry. A bit guant, she rarely gets a chance to eat much of anything and lives on whatever she can find. She cuts her dark brown hair short to keep it out of the way, and it's jagged and choppy, slightly higher than her jawline. Her eyes are dark blue, ringed with smoky black. Full lips, and dark tanned skin. She has an ugly looking scar going from the middle of her left eyebrow upwards, slanting across her head and dissapearing into her hairline.
She wears a thick leather jacket, a dark navy blue turtle neck shirt underneath, sturdy faded jeans, boots, black leather fingerless gloves, and a gas mask that just covers her mouth and nose. She's never without multipule knives, and a pistol.
Personality: Quiet, and observant. She'd rather look and touch than speak most of the time. Her social skills are severely lacking, but that's to be expected. She doesn't trust easily at all, but s quick to help someone in need if she can, and, sometimes, even if she can't really.

Description: a tall, white, gangly kid, dark brown hair, coming just past his eyes. his eyes themselves are green, and he weighs about 150 lb. and is 6'1. he is wearing a dark grey graphic tee, and a dark blue and black striped jacket, blue jeans, and red converse. he is also wearing a black military cap he found, and a black and grey backpack, in which he keeps his gear, food, and ammunition.
Personality: very aloof and distant, always making jokes and making light of whatever situation he is in. a fan of guns, he used them very much as a teenager, and has become proficient on a basic level with most guns he comes across. yet he is also slowly losing his grip on both reality, and his sanity, and he knows this.
Bio: after the first bombs fell, Marcus made his way from the college campus he had been staying at, and travelled to his parents house. yet when he got there, he realized they had already fled. he gathered up whatever supplies he could, along with his fathers 12 gauge and several boxes of ammunition, and went on the road, in the hopes of finding them.
