"I love you, too, Sarah. Truly, I do," Hale murmurs.
Sarah smiled brightly. "I know you do."
Hale chuckles, finally rolling off of her and pulling her close.
Sarah giggled and kissed his nose. "Distraction enough for you?"
"That and more," Hale responds, nuzzling her neck.
Sarah sighed happily and snuggled close. "Good..."
Hale smiles softly, stroking her hair. "You'll always be more than enough for me."
"And you've always been and always will be far more than I could ever ask for or even dream of..." Sarah murmured.
"But you've actually earned it. I'll never be deserving of a woman as amazing as you, Sarrah," Hale whispers, smiling softly.
Sarah sighed. "You are deserving...if you've earned my love, you are deserving.
"I'm glad you believe that," Hale murmurs.
"How could I believe otherwise?" Sarah wondered outloud.
Hale frowns, unsure of whether he should answer that or not.
Sarah shook her head, turning her full attention to him. "I like my way of thinking because it's mine, and it keeps me happy often enough."
Hale nods. "That makes sense, I suppose. My way of thinking was influenced by a lot of the less peaceful people around me. I worry more about fights I could cause and... It's not the most pleasant mindset."
Sarah nodded. "I noticed...I'm sorry. You're of a...darker, less pleasant mindset. But that doesn't make me love you any less."
"Precisely. You have to take the good with the bad."
Sarah nodded in agreement. "I know love..."
Hale smiles softly, kissing the top of her head. "Of course you know."
Sarah sighed and got comfortable, closing her eyes. "I have to find a new job..."
