Angel nodded. "Should we go?"
"Yes," Cole said, "let's hurry up." Cole wandered off slowly.
((Sorry. I can't post when I'm not in school. I'll post in a bit.))
When Ivan reached the TOwn Square, it happened. A blinding pain seared through his skull; it felt as if he was on fire. He knew he couldn't hold himself in that state forever, but he had expected it to last longer than it had. Back to normal looked like the direction Ivan was traveling as he fell to his knees.
((Sounds like a familar winged person's headaches.... :D ))
Angel walked into the town square and saw Ivan, collapsed. She ran over and put an arm on his back. "Hey, hey, are you ok? What's wrong?" She asked him.
He jumpd at her touch; Ivan wasn't too big on physical contact. His headache was subsiding, and he was back to normal. Probably not the greatest thing to happen today.
Angel felt him jump, and took her hand back. However, she stayed by his side. "Are you sure you're ok?" She asked, concerned.
Ivan didn't bother resonding, instead, he walked over to the tree and inspected it. He vaguely hypothesized- correctly- that the disease wouldn't affect plants. The tree ad bloomed in all its glory.
Angel watched as Ivan slinked away, not saying a word. She stared, wondering why he had so much of a problem with her.
(Mind if I join? Not that you need any more especially psychotic characters like who I want to bring in, but... You get my point.)
((Well, Darkness, you'd have to ask Izuo, but I don't see why not..))
((Ha, bumper cars. Yeah you can join Darkness.))
Cole watched Ivan, he wasn't surprised. But it did bring a great question to mind. Was Ivan turning into a zombie?
Name: Cloe Sterling
Bio: To say the least, Cloe was somewhat mentally unstable because of her childhood. Her mother had formerly been a call girl and her father... No one knows. Cloe had to basically raise herself and hardly knew right from wrong, and when she heard stories about her mother, she became more and more paranoid, to the point of actually being "dangerous" and being sent to the hospital.
Ivan stood up. He felt like a complete weakling. He'd been having those headaches for every day of his life, yet his body never adjusted. It was time to focus.
Cloe had been watching the others warily, light blonde hair falling into her silver-blue eyes. She'd followed them, carefully keeping plenty of distance between her and them, just enough so that she could keep them in sight. She wasn't sure whether or not she dared to show herself to them, especially after seeing what had happened to the creature. Wait a little longer... Maybe things will settle down a little and you can come out of the shadows...
Angel stared as Cole and her watched Ivan with conerned glances. She heard a rustle behind her and turned around.
He looked around. It was interesting that those things weren't all over the place. He made a mental note to check later that night. Perhaps they were to photosensitive for the brilliant light in the Town Square.
Cloe sighs, hesitantly stepping out of the shadows. "I suppose it's time I showed myself," she says, her eyes glancing around nervously.
Ivan paid no attention to the new arrival. Now was not the time for distractions. Ivan had to focus and deduce more facts about these... beings.
