Noah loved the cafe, though he didn't like to tell Angie that. She might find a way to use it against him is he did. He grabbed a table near the window so he could people watch, calmly watching the people go by. "Hey Nicole."
Jan. 25 at 4:31 pm
"Hey, how's it going?" She smiles brightly, her blonde ponytail swinging behind her.
Angie brings the muffin to Noah, setting it down and messing up his hair a bit before going to the next table to take their order. "Hi, What can I get for you today?" She fakes a cheery smile, heading over to the counter she starts putting together their order.
Jan. 25 at 4:33 pm
"Oh, it's going," He frowns a bit, not looking into her eyes. "Have any crazy people come in yet?"
Jan. 25 at 4:37 pm
"Define crazy." Nicole laughs, "Do you want a drink?" Her mood light and happy, she senses he's upset but doesn't want to pry into anything and make him feel worse.
Jan. 25 at 4:38 pm
"Yeah, some coffee. Black, please," He smiles, turning his head a bit so he sees the edge of her uniform. "Thanks."
Jan. 25 at 4:46 pm
She nods, "Alrighty, be right back." She bounces away and over to the counter making another order along with pouring some coffee for Noah. She takes the order to the other customer and then takes Noah his coffee. "I know somethings up and if you ever need to talk to someone that's not... well... completely insane like Angie-"
"I heard that." Angie laughs as she drops of a French Vanilla and three Mocha lattes to the table directly across from Noah and Nicole.
"Good." Nicole smiles. "Anyways, as I was saying, if you need someone to talk to, I'm here." She finishes and goes over to a group of guys that just came in.
Jan. 25 at 4:48 pm
Noah nods and sips his coffee, burning his tongue off. He spits a little bit out, and looks around to see if anyone noticed. He wiped the coffe up, deciding that maybe he should wait until the coffee is under sun temperature to drink it.
Jan. 25 at 4:52 pm
Angie drops into the seat across from Noah when her shift ends. "Freedom." She sighs and leans back in the chair.
Nicole flips the open sign to closed as the last customer leaves and cleans up the last table.
Jan. 25 at 4:54 pm
Noah had finished his muffin, with crumbs all over the table. "Not quite. I think you missed a stop." He sipped his coffee, since it was finally cool enough for human consumption.
Jan. 25 at 5:00 pm
"You are just trying to kill me aren't you?" She jumps up and grabs a rag, coming back to the tables she cleans off the crumbes. She goes into the back and gets changed then pours two coffees, one for Nicole and one for herself. She picks them up and goes back over to the table handing one to Nicole when she sits down with them.
"Thanks." Nicole says dropping her bag onto the ground, now back into the bootcut jeans and purple tank top she had on when she got to work.
Jan. 25 at 5:02 pm
Noah smirked as Angie cleaned up his mess. "It's pretty nice ordering you around, getting to be in control." The coffee was so bitter. It matched his mood pretty well.
Jan. 25 at 5:09 pm
Angie sticks her tongue out of him before taking a sip of her drink.
Nicole laughs, "Yeah, you and every other guy who comes in here."
Jan. 25 at 5:10 pm
(Whoops, that didn't make sense, one sec.)
Jan. 25 at 5:10 pm
"Hey, I think I'm at least a little bit better than most of the guys in here," He stuck his tongue back out at Angie.
Jan. 25 at 5:17 pm
(Maybe it did make sense then lol)
Nicole rolls her eyes, "How old are you guys, five?"
"Nope, six." Angie replies laughing a bit.
Jan. 25 at 5:18 pm
Noah crossed his arms, scowling. "Six and A HALF." He whines, scowling.
Jan. 25 at 5:19 pm
(Ignore the second scowling)
Jan. 25 at 5:21 pm
(Alrighty)
Angie bursts out laughing, nearly spilling her coffee.
Nicole giggles, "Yes, yes you are." She pinches his cheek and makes a funny face.
Jan. 25 at 5:24 pm
"Hey! That hurt," Noa rubbed his cheek, blushing a bit. "You're lucky I'm against hurting girls,"
Jan. 25 at 5:27 pm
"Awh, your blushing!" Angie teases him, laughing some more.
Nicole Throws her head back and laughs. "Very sorry!"
