That was like a stone hitting Rai right on the head, "whatever...." Cole brushed it off, "I was talking to two lovebirds." Cole glanced at Sirce and Raphael then turned his head back, "well Kala right? and who is that?" Cole pointed to the pale long black haired girl.
Arachne looked at Kala and Rai and replied to the boy's question, "I am Arachne." She took a quick glance around the classroom before adding, "I have memorized every face here at this school, and yours I have not seen," she said to them. "You said your names are Kala and Rai, did you not?" she asked as she watched a few strands of her hair fall over her eyes then looked back at them.
Kala slouched further in her chair, she didn't know what to say. "Uhm..."
((scratch my last line...))
Kala looked from Rai to Arachne, "Yeah..." she says answering Arachne.
Raphael raised a brow. What if she wanted to know..? "Well, if you want to know, obviously I'd tell you."
"Yeah, my name Is Rai, Raizel is my real name but just call me Rai." Cole smiled.
(Now I feel like a terrible person for doing that. XD)
"Then why don't you?" Serce says, frowning slightly. "It's not as if I'll die if you tell me whether or not you like me."
And snake slithered from the hall into the classroom, Kala spotted it immediately and hoped no one else would notice it before it got to her and she could hide it in her backpack. Come on, come on, quicker... she willed it silently.
"Why?" Because he had never felt like this around a girl. Raphael hesitated, running a hand through his hair awkwardly. "Because I just met you, and it would be weird if I just outright told you that I thought you were gorgeous and you were the first girl to simply act like I wasn't the hottest guy alive, and I found that... cool." He glared down at her desk. "That's why."
Rai noticed a snake slither into Kala's backpack. "Hey, why did that snake go into your backpack?" Rai asked.
Kala sighed and took the snake from her backpack. It wound around her arm and hand, she smiled at it then looked at Rai. "They're drawn to me... They come to me whenever they please and I have to take them back outside when I get the chance..." she explained.
"Does that make you a Gorgon?" Arachne asked, eyeing the snake, "Or a snake tamer?"
Serce smiles faintly. "Is that so? I assume most girls would fall head over heels for you. I don't blame them," she says, blushing.
Serce's blush was simply amazing. Raphael blinked after a few seconds, realising he was staring. "Most do, yes," he admitted. "But... you're different, apparently."
"Gorgon..." she says getting up. She goes over and unlatches the window, letting the snake outside. She closes the window again and goes back to her seat.
"So that does make you a gorgon," Rai said, "don't worry, I'm something else." He smiled. "I'll tell you guys if you promise not to tell any one else. kay?"
Serce laughs softly, toying with a strand of hair and shrugging. "I judge people by their personalities, not their looks. Not that looks don't count," she says, silver eyes flickering with a sort of teasing light.
