She sighed, biting her lip nervously. "It's Jethro."
She stutterd, blinking, and swallowing past the rock in her throat. "I-I...... we were really good friends since first grade," she looked over at her. "And at about fourth grade, I came to like him.. a lot actually. and then you came and he liked you... all the guys did. I mean, I was known as the nerd so..." She fiddeled with her fingers.
Lizabeth understood where she was coming from. "But that's not a good reason to make my life miserable. You could have said something to Jethro, instead of hating me for it. That's not my fault you know...and its fine, you can have him. I don't really wanna hang out with you guys anymore." She said, and didn't wait for her to respond before walking back to Zach. She pulled out her phone. Jethro, its over. I don't think we should date anymore.
Daria nearly laughed at her impossible attitude. She had said she wad sorry and just suddenly decided to walk our on them saying everything was cool? "No, don't do that! Your hurt him! At least talk to him about it!"
Lizabeth looked over her shoulder. "And you think it was ok for making me go sui.cidal for years? You hurt me more than I could ever hurt Jethro. So leave me alone." She said to Daria's smug look on her face. She didn't want to associate with her anymore. She walked back to Zach and burst into tears again in his arms. "I don't know what to do anymore." She whispered.
