Nate alternated between staring at the line and Tyler. He finally moved forward, silently adding to the line. He made it a stick, and drew a tiny inchworm on it. He smirked slightly. "I wish I were a glow worm. A glow worm's never glum. For how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out your bum?" Nate articulated, complete stone cold seriousness in his voice and most his face. He had started to pick up on the whole serious thing from Tyler.
Tyler just drew another line in the dirt. Though his serious expression may have gotten a little softer. Just a little.
Nate stared intently at the new line. What was that line going to be? He smirked. Drawing a line on the bottom, another on the top, and another going down from that, then 11 small lines on the very bottom. “Hangman,” he mumbled.
Tyler watched Nate draw out the lines silently. He didn't say anything. He silently stared at what Nate had drawn. His knees stayed hugged up tightly against his chest.
