"A kiss would be nicer." Solas smirked at her, crossing his arms over his chest. "But you know, whatever floats your boat."
Kita sighs. "Well, I won't waste my energy getting up to kiss you, so if you're really looking for a kiss, you'll have to come to me," she teases.
Solas hesitated a minute, just studying her. Honestly, he couldn't tell if she was being serious or not; reading people wasn't one of his strong points. Finally he walked over to her, watching her carefully as he slowly leaned down, close to her. "Kiss me, then."
Kita laughs softly, sitting up slightly and kissing him. "I'm a woman of my word. Did you doubt me?"
Solas quickly pulled back, turning away to hide his face. "Kinda, yeah." F.uck. Now he just felt weird.
Kita smirks, watching him. "You're uncomfortable." It was more of a statement than a question.
"I'm fine," Solas muttered quickly, walking back to the window. There wasn't really anything too interesting out there, but it wasn't like he could look at her right now.
Kita sighs, curling up on her bed and closing her eyes. So now she was effectively trapped in her own house by some guy who wanted to steal her soul. Yet for some reason that didn't bother her.
Without even realising it, Solas had already walked over and knelt by the bed in front of her. "You really are a strange one," he said softly with a little laugh.
Kita jumps, her eyes flashing open. "You have nothing better to do than to stare at me all day?" she sighs, rolling onto her back.
Solas shrugged lightly, still watching her. "You're nice to look at. Would you rather I left?"
"It doesn't matter if you leave or not. It's actually kinda nice to have someone nearby," Kita admits, laughing.
Solas looked down at the floor, his smile fading quickly. "Are you really so alone that a demon is really such good company to you..?"
"Yeah. That's pretty much the story," Kita sighs, running a hand through her hair. "It doesn't bother me, though."
Man, she really was different, wasn't she... Solas sighed, looking back up at her. "Kiss me again." Since the first time didn't seem to bother her much.
Kita turns to him, frowning slightly. "Why...?" she asks slowly, raising an eyebrow. "Is this some sort of trick...?"
"Darling, you're too skeptical to trick." Solas shook his head, standing up. "If you don't want to, then whatever. But really - why I trick you with a kiss?"
"I didn't mean that I don't want to. I don't even know why I thought that," Kita says, shaking her head. "I mean..." She frowns, trying to figure out what to say.
Cat-like, Solas crawled onto the bed beside her, raising a brow at her. "Then do it already. What's the harm, right?"
Kita sighs softly, nodding and kissing him gently.
