Quinn noticed a tiny girl in the corner of her eye. She stopped and looked at the girl backing away from her. "You! Who are you? Xanthe, who is she? Who is this girl? Tell me! Oh--you are the one who hit Xanthe. You made her weak enough for me to take over," she laughed menacingly. "I like you for that. Help me find the guard so I can kill him!"

Zak just stood there, the gaurd? What guard? Weak enough for her to take over? She was rather confused, but then decided she really didn't want to help this person. She shook her head as she backed up, this person who used to be Xanthe could easily hurt her, Zak wanted to just get away from her.

Quinn gaped at the girl--Zak. She wasn't going to help? Ugh! If only Quinn was more like Xanthe. If only she could manipulate people like Xan could. Xan didn't even have use her ability. She could just persuade with her words! Quinn paused. She jus had to try and be like Xan. "What...? You don't want to help me? But...after they scared you, after they attacked you... I thought you might want to help me find them. Let me take them down to protect us both," she said in a fakely calm voice.

Zak stopped again, confused, they ahd scared adn atacked her, but wasn't that more of a reason to stay away from them? If she styed hidden and didn't see them again she wouldn't have to be scared by them again.
"I-I just wanna be lef' alone." she muttered and satrted to back away again.

Quinn painted a look of concern on her face. "But don't you understand? They want to hurt you. I heard them talking. They were going to go after you. They're both soldiers--they're trained to find people like you. You won't be safe..." She lied. Or bluffed, more like it. She had no clue what they had planned to do about Zak. She hadn't really been paying attention.

Zak's eyes widened. What had she done to get the soldier mad? Why would they want to hunt her down? She'd only acted in self defense again the big guy, she hadn't really been bad right? Zak kept shaking ehr head and backing up, she got into the alley and turned to run. If tjose people really wanted to hunt ehr down she had to get out of here.

Quinn watched the other girl as she ran. Wow, that hadn’t gone as she planned. How was Xanthe so good at talking people into doing what she wanted? Did she just always use her power? Whatever. Quinn, what was that for? You scared Zak even more than she already was. “Shut up! I don’t want to hear it.” Quinn marched into a building to her left, looking for the guard.
Xanthe knew Quinn was mellowing out a bit. Maybe she could get her power through to get help. What help? There isn’t anyone. Besides, the guards at the institution could barely help me. They just made it worse. They just make Quinn angrier…

Zak ran harder down the alley, she wasn't sure if she was being pursued, she didn't hear anyone, but for al she knew the person who formerly was Xanthe could fly. Today had just been weird. She darted down a twisting alley and stopping crawled in through a broken window in an old place that used to be a shop, she headed for the back room.

Finally, Xanthe decided to try to get through to Zak. If only to calm the poor girl down. Zak, can you hear me? It’s Xan—the real Xan. Are you there? Everything Quinn just told you was a lie, alright? No one’s out to get you. Zak? She wasn’t sure if she had made it through to Zak or not.
Jason was startled as the door opened. He sprang up, ready to electrocute whatever stumbled in through it, but stopped when he say it was the little girl from earlier. “Oh, it’s just you,” he sighed.

Zak stared at the two people quietly. She 'heard' what Xan, supposedly the real Xan had said, but wans't sure what to think, she was very confused, but hs eguessed she'd better shut the door. She stepped into teh room and shut the door behind her. Then Zak went and sat in the croner, she watched the two men suspiciously not really trusting them, but guessing in here was safer than out there.

Possibly failing to get through to Zak, she tried to get through to Jason or Sabien. She finally settled on Sabien because he would know a little more about the situation, being from Xperime. Can I get through to you?
Jason reclaimed his place against the wall. He didn’t really want to talk with crazy girl out there. So he stayed silent and glanced from the door, to Zak—as Xanthe had called her, to Sabien, back to the door. He wondered how long this double person thing would last.
Quinn scoured the first building, not finding them. “Rarrrg!” she screamed. “Where are you!” She stomped out of the place, ground quivering and shaking behind her as the building attacked itself. As it crumbled to the ground.

Yeah. Sabien responded, he may not like it ut he had to team up with Xanthe to get Quinn gone. He really wasn't stoked about it, but he knew that Quinn would either run out of steam or fin dthem, and wans't exactly happy about the idea of her finding them.

If Xanthe had been in control of her body at that point, she would’ve sighed in relief. She had enough power to get outside. Good. First, you should know that this will last a while… The scientists rigged it to where Quinn would remain dominant so long as she’s angry. They of course picked a total hot head to merge with me, and the last episode went on for three weeks.

Three weeks? Sabien asked, this wasn't going to be any fun, holing upin the back of an old grocery store for three weeks with anoterhs oldier and small girl whom he didn't trust in the least bit,
Is there a way to shorten the episode? LIke if Quinn passes out or something? Sanien asked.

Hm… In theory, yes. She would have to fight me of in the mental sphere, in which I would clearly have the advantage. The problem is, no one has ever gotten close enough to touch her. Quinn knows a lot about military tactics; she used to be a guard. They wanted to replace my mind with hers to control my newfound abilities and have a blindly loyal weapon, but something went wrong. Instead she just merged with me and went crazy. On top of that, she was hiding a power from her superiors. The power to make atoms attack themselves, Xanthe explained.

Oh lovely. Sabien thought, he turned to Jason,
"Jason sir," he said to get his attentiona dn then explained what Xanthe had just told him, he ignored Zak, she woulnd't be much good when it came to battle stragy and fighting, she was too small adn weak looking.

Jason listened as Sabien briefed the situation. He rubbed his temples in concentration. “Well, that’s great…” he muttered. “Okay. There has to be a specific range where her power is usable. I can’t throw lightening past a certain point. So if we stick to a long range attack…”

Xanthe, is there a range for Quinn's power? Sabien asked. He still ignored Zak though, not thinking that she could be useful.

Yes, but as long as I can communicate with you you’re probably in it. My telepathy isn’t as strong in recessive form. From past experiences… I would think she couldn’t do anything past half a mile… maybe closer to a third or a quarter, Xanthe guessed. She went silent for a minute, exchanging a few lines with Jason before continuing. Is it true—Zak’s with you? Willingly? I think I have an idea…

Yeah Zak's with us, she's too weak and small to do anything useful. Sabien said, he shot Zak a look of scourn, he didn't like small weak poeple, they were so pathetic adn wimpy. He looked to Jason to see if he had a plan that didn't involve a pthetic little child.
