Jakob's eyes widened and flashed, burning even colder.
"You! I should've known it was you!" He seethed. "I hate coffee!" He let loose a few curses, some modern, some ancient as he glared at his brother. "What is the meaning of this?"
Feb. 27 at 8:19 pm
Xiyra glances sharply at Zeus, dark eyes narrowing. "I was beginning to hope you wouldn't bother to show up in my lifetime," she mutters, crossing her arms.
Feb. 27 at 8:27 pm
Hera froze as her husband walked through the door. She had stormed out of Olympus, determined never to see him again, yet here he was in a coffee shop! Why in the name of Tartarus is he here?
"Ah, I see that my plan for a nice, happy family reunion is off to a good start! How are you all?" Zues replied cheerily. "I called you all here just for a friendly chat, thats all." He said, though something in his voice and the fact that he left his palace in the sky to come here did not make it seem as though he was just there to catch up.
Feb. 27 at 8:29 pm
Allison looked at Zeus calmly, with no emotions, "Long time since I've seen that face."
Feb. 27 at 8:30 pm
Jakob scoffed. "Friendly chat, eh? Hm, sounds like fun. Too bad I'll be missing it." He turned around and headed for the exit again, this time determined not to be stopped as he had before.
Feb. 27 at 8:35 pm
"Hades," Allison said, grabbing his wrist, "Just stay and hear him out." She didn't want to not have a family member present. Havin spent most of her time away from her family in her past life, she wanted to get closer to all of them.
Feb. 27 at 8:35 pm
"Ha! As if I ever was family to you?" Xiyra quips, shaking her head. "Get to the point and tell us why you're really here. I don't buy the 'family chat' excuse."
Feb. 27 at 8:39 pm
"Yeah, brother. Cut to the chase, so I can leave." Jakob scowled unhappily. He yanked his wrist away from Artemis, pulling himself to his full height as he glared first at his his brother, then all of the other gods in turn, burning eyes lingering on Artemis for a while.
Feb. 27 at 8:40 pm
"My dear Artemis, so good to have a cordial word spoken to me and I hope this face has not aged one day in the many years since you last saw it." Zues smiled to show how time did not touch him. "On the other hand, my dear wife, the years seem to have finally caught up with you. You are beginning to look... old." He turned a friendly face on Hera though it was only met with an ice cold glare.
"Where do you think you are going Shady One?" Zues yelled at Hades watching him flee. The moment Zues raised his voice, electricity shot out of the ends of his hair and a bold flew from his hand, hitting the lock on the door and sealing them in.
Feb. 27 at 8:45 pm
"I was never one for games, Zeus." Jakob crossed his arms over his chest unhappily. "Just tell us what you want so I can leave. I don't want any part of this."
Feb. 27 at 8:47 pm
((Sorry I think my internet is a bit slow... my responce was a bit delayed... oops))
"The point," Zues said, controlling himself again. "the point is that the human race is in danger, and I suppose by extent that means each of you are in danger since many of you seem to have chosen the doomed life of humanity, though I can't imagine why you would do such a thing. Anyways, the population of this world is jeopardized and though you may be mear memories of your formar selves, the human race needs your help."
Feb. 27 at 8:59 pm
"You say that as if we could actually save them. As if we'd actually be willing to," Xiyra mutters, crossing her arms. "What makes you think I've forgiven you for what you've done in the past so that I'd be willing to play your little game?"
Feb. 27 at 9:15 pm
"Well, if you don't help, it won't really affect me much, it will more of a problem for you, being human. I can always still exisit even if all the people of Earth are destroyed, but you, you will go with them, you all will. You are all human now are you not?" Zues replied, looking around at each of the former gods and goddesses in turn.
Hera still stood by the door, her arms crossed and a glare still on her face. She didn't believe a word her husband was saying about the end of the world or whatever. He is always exaggerating things and guilting or scaring people into helping him, she thought, but I won't budge, he can rot in Tartarus for all I care!
Feb. 27 at 9:18 pm
((Can someone please update me on what happened? I've been really busy all day and so much seems to have happened))
Feb. 27 at 9:20 pm
((errm... lets see. Everyone is gathered in the coffee shop, there was a bunch of arguing and 'friendly' catching up of family members. Zues says he gathered them all there to save humanity though everyone is human... I think thats it. haha :) ))
Feb. 27 at 9:26 pm
Belle nervously fidgeted. She didn't like fighting and this whole "save the world" thing seemed like it would involve a lot of getting dirty. Besides, what should she do? Beautify people to death? Couldn't the others handle it themselves?
Alyssa observed, not saying anything. She was a girl/goddess of few words. She could sense the tension. Although some altercations had already occurred, she felt like someone was going to explode. And she needed to be there to stop it when it happened.
Feb. 27 at 9:34 pm
((Sorry I have to go. bye. ))
Feb. 27 at 9:39 pm
Artemis frowned, deep in thought. Ares was silent.
Feb. 27 at 9:56 pm
"I'll help." Allison said suddenly. "Aslong as Hades helps too." she met his gaze just as fiercely and she wasn't going to falter. She was determined to keep him in the family.
Feb. 27 at 11:00 pm
"Go to Tartarus." Jakob snorted. "And I don't go by Hades anymore. I'm Jakob." He crossed his arms more firmly over his chest. "Besides. If I die, I can finally rest in peace. I won't always have to be looking over my shoulder for you guys." He glared harder, raising his chin proudly.
